Grand Hotel Named Among 10Best All-Inclusive Resorts & Historic Hotels in USA Today Popular Vote

Historic hotel recognized on the 10Best list for four consecutive years

 

Mackinac Island, Mich. – Michigan’s historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island has taken first place on USA Today’s list of the 10Best All-Inclusive Resorts and sixth on the list of 10Best Historic Hotels around the county. Initially named as a top 20 finalist, the resort earned its rankings based on a popular vote.

Grand Hotel has appeared on the USA Today 10Best list of Historic Hotels for four consecutive years. In addition, Grand Hotel earned the most votes from a pool of 20 nominated hotels in the All-Inclusive Resort category, taking the #1 spot. The nominees in this category were selected for their stunning beauty coupled with level of inclusivity.

The 10Best contest includes a variety of categories including travel, restaurants, things to do and more around the world. Nominees for all categories are selected by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA Today, editors from 10Best.com and expert contributors. A public vote is held over four weeks to decide the ten finalists for each category. Participants may vote for one nominee per category, per day for the duration of the contest.
